Citizen Skyhawk JR3155 54e, Sporting a hardened, special ops look, the Citizen Black Eagle Skyhawk stainless steel men’s flight watch offers advanced timing functions and the latest technology. It’s powered by Citizen’s unique Eco-Drive, which absorbs sunlight and any artificial light through the crystal and dial to recharge the watch continuously. The fast-forward timekeeping features include time and calendar in twenty-two time zones, thirty cities, three world time alarms, a 99-minute countdown timer, one-touch interchangeable analog/digital time, and 1/100-second chronograph that measures up to 24 hours.
The large round black ion-plated stainless steel case measures 44mm (1.73 inches) wide and 14mm (0.55 inches) deep, and it’s topped by a bi-directional rotating slide rule. The black dial background features large white hands with luminous tips as well as luminous square dial markers. It’s completed by a black-plated stainless steel bracelet band. My brother and my sister bought this watch for me. I told them I was looking for a sports watch and what I found was out of my price range. Having big brother and sister that I do, he surprised me with it for my birthday. The features are simply amazing. Once you figure out the glass tools, you can calculate almost any aviation problem you may have. The appearance of this watch is perfect for casual or dress. Being retired military I always play with characteristics different time zone. If I had the watch, while in the military, it would have helped enormously. I recommend this show to anyone looking for a sport still nice looking watch. ECO readers is greater too. I can not thank my brother and my sister, just like a big present. This is my 3rd Citizens Watch. I also powered by battery, Blue Angels Sky Hawk and an Eco-Drive. They are 9 years and 4 years respectively. I am an outdoors man, and I'm very hard on my watches. These things are built like little tanks. I was beaten to death, and they've never let me down. Every 3 or 4 years I have sent them into the crystals have been replaced, and the battery replaced in the Blue Angels Chronograph. This jr3155-54E is the maintenance they receive. I find it amazing that bumping against abrasive surfaces to hunting and fishing has only damaged crystals. Other then that these watches look and work like they are new. I am 65 and I've never found a watch that is as robust and less reliable than the watches are citizens. I am a customer for life. Citizens Good job!
