I tried first web cam and I always run into problems with wiring. Power has never been where I wanted the camera and the idea of a person or tacking wires meant that I could not use the cameras for a great effect. But Vue completely solve the problem. It could not be easier. Since they are generally only interested to check regularly the approach Vue is perfect for me. The quality was not the same as a video camera to record people, but that would be a waste if it meant giving up battery life or mountability. The software is not perfect, but it will be better and is perfectly fine for me already.
When I heard about Avaak Vue Personal Video Network in its early stages I asked to be a beta tester. I was very happy to be accepted. I purchased several wireless systems in the past and the same problems came up, with no power outlets where I need cameras. With the Vue, no problem! If you want a camera high on a wall, its simple as hanging a picture. Wireless facing. Setup took me until about 5 minutes. Battery life is advertised as being about a year with 10 minutes a day to see if I remember correctly. My experience was very good, although I am seeing my system remotely several times a day with an eye on my exotic birds and the dog. When I’m on vacation I check the house from afar and feel good about it. When we went I just move the cameras to view the inputs or yard area. Believe me I’m going to buy several more cameras how this system can accept any amount you want to add. This is an excellent camera system. Can not go wrong with the Avaak Vue Personal Video Network.
