I am very pleased with this unit and it should last a long time! It is BETTER than going to the chiropractor for 10 minutes of stimulation for the money they bill your insurance not to mention the drive there and time away from home. You can hook this up and work around the house for hours or just lay there on a heating pad. Be sure to look up the proper positioning of the electrodes on the Internet. This unit will crank up as high as you would want and I chose it because it has an A/C adapter and batteries. A month later and the battery mode still works the same as A/C mode without changing the batteries. You could buy rechargeables for the other units but this was inexpensive and the seller had great service!
Was a little confused when I first received this product. It actually came from Pro Therapy Supplies, not LG Med Supply, and is called a Twin Stim Plus Digital TENS/EMS manufactured for Koalaty Products. After a phone call to Pro Therapy and an explanation by a nice person who answered the phone I was satisfied that what I received was what I ordered. It appears that Koalaty Products makes the unit and then supply companies give it their own stock numbers and names. Even the instruction manuals have a place for a distributor to put their own name on it, making one think that is who the unit comes from. Anyway, the unit is working well on my son, who has Down Syndrome, and who recently had spinal surgery for a compressed spinal cord. The physical therapist recommended this to help stimulate the nerves/muscles and hopefully speed up his recovery. I will say that it appears to make him more comfortable and has helped to lessen the severity and frequency of muscle spasms. He actually asks to have it put on. Even though I don’t have any personal experience with this, I would recommend it based on my observations of my son’s improved comfort level.
