We bought our Gazelle in March of 2004 and my husband and I each use it every day – 2 to 3 miles each! It has had it’s squeaky problems, but my husband says it just needs some routine maintenance. I have very bad knees and am still able to use this – since it is very low impact. I’ve lost 60 pounds and my husband has lost 69 pounds! (We are also eating right!) I’ve never found any exercise that I enjoy – until now! The key is also to use music – Tony Little Fit Trax or Curves Freedom Music are both excellent! The music keeps you going, keeps you motivated and makes it more fun! We love it!
I bought my gazelle at wal-mart two weeks ago and I have already seen results, I work out 30 minutes twice a day and In only 2 weeks I’ve lost 15 lbs and I feel great!!! Also I take the stacker 2 diet pill 45 minutes before exercising and it increases my workout, causing me to burn more fat. I have weighed 225 lbs since my first child was born, that is about 75lbs heaver than I use to weigh, I have 3 children at home and dont have time to go to the gym. So you could only emagine the way I felt when I realized I was actually loosing weight so fast with this machine. I’ve heard all about the squeaking and when mine began to squeak all I did was loosing the bolts to the axel bar and put wd40 on them. If everyone would look at the direction’s it clearly states to only “HAND TIGHTEN” the bolts and I have noticed if the bolts on my machine are to tight my gazelle will squeak loudly, but loosing them a little help tremendously. I would recomend this machine to anyone. Also to the lady who said she was to short for the gazelle, well I am only 5′4 also and I wear a size 8 shoe as well and I have absolutely no problem using the gazelle, all I do when I want to do a wide range workout is slightly bend my knee’s, this give’s me the wide range Tony Little show’s in his picture and also streaches my leg’s and I can feel more in my thigh’s. So if anyone is thinking about buying this machine I give it 5 star’s and recommend it to anyone. And if you are afraid to take a chance on this machine I say buy it at wal-mart that way if you are’nt satisfied with it you can return it!!!
